Projects: ISO/Futures Gallery/Futures

The interface involved a large projection, a trackerball and a button

Futures is the name given to the suite of large interactive exhibits installed at the ThinkTank, Birmingham, which explore futuristic ideas such as robots and artificial hearts. Users control projections and local screens using the combination of a trackeerball, and a button, with a local screen and a separate public projected screen. Information is 'released' as the crosshair moved over the fine interface elements.

The graphic design and much of the interaction design for these works was  by Mark Breslin. This is the first interactive  media project I built for ISO.
